Language is the Expression of Thought. Every Time You Speak, Your Mind is on Parade.

No matter how hard you try to hide or cover up certain things or secrets in your life, the real you and your own beliefs get exposed by the words that flow freely out of your own mouth. That is exactly why we are admonished by God in His Holy Word, in The Book of Proverbs, Chapter 6, verse 2 NKJV by being told:

(2) “You are snared by the words of your mouth;
You are taken by the words of your mouth.”

Further into the Word of God, in The Book of Luke, Chapter 6, verse 45 NKJV we are told:

(45) “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth
good; an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth
evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”

Now keep in mind in the context of this verse 45, God is not talking about your physical heart, i.e. the blood pumping muscle in the center of your chest cavity. He is talking about your spiritual heart, your brain, the control center of your entire body.

I can call myself a coliseum but that does not necessarily make me a coliseum.

I can call my self a Christian, but that too does not necessarily make me one.

It is my words and consequent actions that truly expose what I really am on the inside….what my true honest beliefs and values really are.

In our world today, it is relatively easy to say one thing and be completely opposite of what you say, in the living of your life. So the real way to know what a person really is, is to watch their actions, watch how they conduct and live their lives. There never is any misunderstanding how a person acts and how they live.

A Story Please…… a story that is relived daily across this country and around the world….

A woman was visiting her brother and his family one time when her nephew suddenly stopped in the midst of his play and steadily gazed up at her. “What are you thinking about?” she asked him. “You’re a Christian, auntie, aren’t you?” he finally asked.

“I hope so, dear,” she replied. “But you never talk about Jesus,” he said. “If you loved Him very much, wouldn’t you talk about Him sometimes?”

The aunt, taken aback a bit, stammered a reply: “We may love a person without speaking of him,” she said.

“Can we?” her nephew asked innocently. “I didn’t know that. You talk about your papa and mamma and your brothers and sisters all the time. And you talk about other people, too—even me. But not Jesus.”

“Well, yes,” the aunt admitted, her heart quickened with conviction. “I suppose that’s been so.”

“Let’s talk about Jesus sometime,” her nephew concluded before getting up to go outside to play. And then with a backward wink, he added, “Cause I love Him, too, and I like to talk about Him.”

We talk about what—and who—matter the most to us. And what we say reveals how we really feel about them.

Knowing God’s Truth, His Word, and what He has to say about what really means the most to us, is the basis for learning what is most important to other people who come into our life. We know because God tells us so, that what is really hidden in a person’s spiritual heart will be quickly identified by what comes out of their mouth through the words, and type of speech which flows out of their mouth.

What type of things, figures of speech, comments, tone and attitude freely flow from your lips?

What is really buried deep in your spiritual heart,…good or evil?

When you follow God’s direction for your life, when you follow His instruction for your existence, you will create happiness, love, peace and joy. All of these things will be added unto you. They will surround you, and your countenance, words, and actions will constantly display your inner joy.

You are commanded by God’s Word to read and then meditate, i.e. ponder, the Holy Word of God every day. The meditating process should last all day. As a true Spiritual Believer, the Word of God should permeate your thoughts constantly. Of course when ever that happens, you will have an abundance of His Word and its Truth in your brain…your spiritual heart…and consequently it will begin to be uttered out of your mouth, just as Scripture says it will.

God’s Word and His Truth comes alive right before your very eyes when you are obedient to His instructions and do exactly as He says for you to do.

Amen and Amen

Peace and love to all of you…….Poppa Bear
