It is my boldly proclaimed purpose of this separate article as well as the entire content of my website to enlighten, educate, equip, and encourage all the readers with the needed information and direction to assist them in achieving their desired dreams and goals. The aim of all quality education is to teach the student how to bring out the best that is in him…how to develop his maximum potential. As such, I am inviting you to join with me in a “rest-of-your-life” journey that I will “unfold” in the form of a guide so as to assist you in getting from where you now stand to wherever it is that you desire to go in your life.
I fully realize that is a big assignment, but in taking it we will not be strictly on our own. I intend to employ some highly qualified road guides in the form of the lessons learned from some of the single most successful people within the annals of all humankind.
You see, from the study and analysis of all the truly great and successful people of the past, we can clearly see that indeed there are some commonalities with all of them. Once we learn and understand what these people did with their resources and exactly what principles of life they unleashed to help them achieve their great success, then to get the same or even greater results, all we need do is to follow in their footsteps.
Because of the perfectly balanced and ordered world in which we live the process really cannot be too difficult. There are only two roads from which we can choose to journey down as we attempt to make our own mark in this beautiful world. Let’s call it the highway of life.
One of our choices, and it is the most difficult of the two, is called the trial and error route. Keep a careful eye out,… if this is your choice. Because it is a very busy and well-traveled route. Most people on earth journey through their lives in this fashion, gambling with their chances for success to happen for themselves. They hope that in the process of discovering all of the things that don’t work for them, ultimately they will “luck” upon the things that will work for them. Very few folks ever achieve much of anything using this technique. Sadly, after a lifetime of trial and error experimentation, the wisdom they finally acquire late in life is deposited with them in the grave. This, pathetically, has been the predominate method repeated from generation to generation over the ages of time….It doesn’t have to be that way for you!
The “other road” is the superhighway of life–the freeway of life, if you will. It is a charted course founded upon the basic success principles needed for successful living. It can shorten the distance from where you are now to wherever you want to go in life!
A proven fact of life is that experience is transferable. There is no surer way along the road to success than to follow in the footsteps of those who have journeyed successfully before us.
Everything is constantly changing in our world today except for three distinct things: (1) God, (2) Sin, and (3) Human Nature. Since time began on earth, as we know it, these three things have remained the same. They have remained unchanged from the stone age to the space age.
A wealth of information and knowledge can be gained from the past, from the lives, practical experience, and wisdom of men and women who have successfully journeyed before us. This is all a grand inheritance for us to draw from and use as we travel up the highway to our own success. The roadway, however, is a “toll road.” It is not to be had without paying a dear price. Never forget for all of your life that there is no such thing as something for nothing. Success, too, has a price tag. The price you must pay for your own success is not unreasonable. You are well equipped to pay it. It only requires the willingness on your part to gain in understanding the knowledge you will be herewith supplied, and a dedicated consistent effort to give it your personal application. The knowledge you will gain can then be transferred into wisdom and strength.
To know the way, you must first learn the way. But to know the way is still not enough. Once you know the way,…you must then follow the way. It is at this point far too many are lost off the roadway. It is here that far too many believe they no longer need to continue learning and growing. Once internal growth ceases, then outward growth will also immediately cease. British Pastor, Sydney Smith said, “He is a miracle of genius who makes use of the accumulated wisdom of the ages.” In our selfish sinful world today, most people think about and view the world as a huge grab-bag into which they should thrust their hands and take out as much as is possible as fast as possible before some other person gets any of what they believe is theirs. These type people are known as hoarders. They are continual takers and they never put anything back into the world from which they have withdrawn. There simply could not be a greater mistake, for we shall find on our journey to success, that we will get out of life exactly what we put into it!
History is filled with successful people and they all have one common trait…they are Givers,…not takers.
In order to become successful, you need to become and act as the Christopher Columbus of your own undiscovered possibilities. You should not wait for opportunities to come to you, but rather you should make opportunities for yourself as you grow.
If the truth be known, the most forbidding circumstances or conditions cannot repress a longing by an individual for knowledge,…or a yearning for more and greater growth. There is success for every youth who has the determination to seize his opportunities! No limits can ever be placed on anyone’s career or chosen pathway to success without the complete approval of the person involved. And finally, there are no barriers which can say to aspiring upward mobile students,…“this far, and no farther.”
When an individual draws from the knowledge and wisdom of those successful people who have gone before him, he will always exemplify a posture of looking forward and living upward. His actions will always display a willingness to bring victory out of every personal defeat. Even though he may only be a plain, everyday type person, his appearance will not determine his desired success. It will be his persistent and continual work ethic that enables him or her to win the greatest prizes of life by the most extraordinary means.
History continues to show that necessity has always been the priceless spur or pointed prod that has urged man to struggle with his destiny, and has developed his greatest strengths.
It is my most sincere desire that the information, knowledge, experience and wisdom found within the confines of this website will be the needed push to help all people, young and old alike, to find practical solutions to many of life’s problems and challenges. The intent of the content of this website is to provide formulas and other information to guide you up your own ladder of success,…for helping you conquer unfavorable environments and turn them back towards your own favor,… and for finding one’s true place and position in life! Learning and understanding the success qualities of life and how they are developed and strengthened will be openly discussed in great detail. Strong emphasis will be laid on the individual’s correct choosing to live by high and proper ideals which will be molded into his or her own character.
Effective study is effective mind growth, mind enlargement; and to promote this we must bring all of our mental power to bear upon the material included in each of the individual discussion sections within this website.
