While rearranging my office this past month, I stumbled across an incredible book that was gifted to me on October 31, 2001 from an old business associate and friend. The man who gave me this ever-so-special book is a strong Christian Believer. He is a successful businessman and also a student of history.
As is so often the case, I put the book away and somehow lost track of it. I must remind you that God makes no mistakes. Had I read the book in 2001 I most probably would not have been ready to receive the great amount of value that I am now ready to receive from the Lord.
The Holy Bible tells us all from the very beginning of time to the very end of it how everything is going to play out and what and who will be involved. Somehow it seems easier to grasp and understand these individual activities and events when you are studying about biblical times, ancient times and personages. However, as time passes and current modern times come into play, we seem to lose contact with the continuity of God’s plans for the history of the world to play out to its completion.
Well, this gifted book I received was written by a theologian who happened to be a serious student of world history in the 1750’s. It tracks not only the world events, politics, societal occurrences, elections, and civilizations, but also “power plays” conducted throughout biblical, medieval, and modern times. It simply blows your mind how all things that have occurred in the past and that will occur in the future all fit into a grand Spiritual scheme of things that all add into one another all for God’s glory when the end of the ages finally arrives and life on this earth as we know it ends.
Right now I am formulating how I can most effectively incorporate this great fountain of knowledge and wisdom into this website, www.davesevern.com. Because of the intellectual and spiritual depth of the material to be covered, I do know that this information will be incorporated into the Registered Members Section of the website.
For the first time in my life I am beginning to see how all of the world events and the people who were involved in them all fit into the Divine Scheme as God intended it to be from the very beginning of creation and lasting until the end of time.
Get ready this year 2016 to get a true lesson of the reality of your God and His Plan for our lives. Once we begin this discussion, you will not want to or be able to stop drinking in more and more understanding of how we all fit into this Divine mix.
