By and large I believe the single greatest excuse used by man to avoid having to think and having to go to work to resolve almost all of his personal problems is the lame duck statement…. “I just don’t have enough money or I just don’t have any money,… so …I just can’t do it.”  

Those words are self indicting.  To the person who really knows the truth of life, those words are disgusting and revolting.  They are a self exposed statement of total ignorance,….of no understanding of personal responsibility as well as no knowledge of the financial facts of life. 

Do you want to know the facts?  Do you want to receive one of the greatest secrets of life?  Do you want to get the Truth?…Here it is! 

Napoleon Hill, a man who studied all of the greatest and most successful people in the world and how they achieved their success once said:  “It is impressive to recognize that all of the great leaders, in all walks of life and during all periods of history, have attained their leadership by the application of their abilities behind a DEFINITE MAJOR PURPOSE.” 

Mr. Hill went on to say,  “It is no less impressive to observe that those who are classified as failures have no such purpose, but go around and around, like a ship without a rudder, coming back always empty-handed, to their starting point.”  

Now aren’t those two very interesting statements?  They both come from a man who started out his life in total poverty and made something great happen with the use of his life.  He invested his entire life in the study and understanding of why and how people succeed or fail throughout the world. 

Mr. Hill’s statements beg the question to be asked of you…..Do you have a Major Definite Purpose for your own life?  Now if you have one… “blurp”… your response to the question has already left your lips.  Congratulations friend…..you are headed in the right direction.  However if you are still thinking about your response to the question….

…sorry friend, you do not have such a purpose to your life.  My advice to you,…better get one, and get one soon. 

You see to be successful you don’t need to have all the answers to all of the possible questions that might or could arise. Quite frankly, you do not need any more knowledge or resources than you presently possess.  What you do need to do,… is to begin to USE that which you do have and work things out as you go.  At the time man was created, God gave him that unique ability to “figure things out” as he progresses through his life.  All men and women have that spiritual DNA coursing through their arteries and veins as we speak. 

It is for this reason the following truth of life exists, whether you agree with it or not!  Man’s major weakness consists not in riches he does not possess, but in the failure to make use of that which he has!  Permit me to ask you,….Are you using all of the wonderful gifts God has given you,….as best you are able? 

Here lies another great Truth of Life: 

Successful men and women move with definiteness of purpose, and never waver, slow down, or quit when the going is hard.  They succeed because they (1) know what they desire, (2) lay plans for attaining it, and (3) follow those plans until they are rewarded with success!  They never quit, give up or stop working on achieving their desires until they actually possess them. 

Do you really know what you desire in your life.  Absolutely, positively, know what you want without any question or hesitation?  Do you definitely know what it is,…. that is a definite major purpose you must accomplish with the use of your life while you are still on this earth?  I sincerely hope that you have such a purpose and that you do know precisely what it is. 

Now here is why you don’t have to have all of the answers or all the resources at the beginning of your efforts of achieving your definite major purpose.  All you need do is stay focused on the work needed to turn your dreams into reality.  Don’t allow Satan to discourage or derail you from working towards the accomplishment of your definite major purpose just because you don’t have or don’t know how to get what it is that you think you need.   

Remember,….If God gives you a dream, He has already given you the ability to achieve that dream.  He is not a teasing God….He is a loving God who truly desires for you to become totally successful…to have life and have it more abundantly. Do you honestly and earnestly believe that statement?  I certainly hope you do.  

Here is how God works out all of these “unknowns”,…..how He brings people into your life who will help you get what it is that you sincerely and purposely want….. 

One of the strange facts concerning men who move with a Definiteness of Purpose is the readiness with which the world steps aside that they may pass, yea, even coming to their aid in carrying out their aims and purposes. 

This is exactly why you do not need all the answers to all of the potential questions that have been holding you back from getting started on your road to success.  Begin to use the gifts and talents God has given you just as you presently are.  Begin to use your talents and abilities that you possess and watch God add all of the other things you will need into your life.  That is how He works in your life. 

At the beginning of your efforts you may have no idea of how the results are to come to you.  Yet you need not concern yourself.  Just leave it to God and to your own subconscious mind which has its own ways of making contacts, and of opening doors and avenues that you may never have even thought of.  You will receive assistance from the most unexpected sources.  You will find that ideas useful in the accomplishment of your plans and programs will come at most unexpected times.   You may be suddenly struck with the idea of seeing a person you have not heard from for a long time, or calling upon a person you have never seen before.  You may get the idea of writing a letter or making a telephone call.  WHATEVER THE IDEA IS, FOLLOW IT!  

You see, beloved,… If you want to be successful, you must walk in faith,….you must do what needs to be done whether you understand it or not,… whether you know why you are to do it or not.  God wants your obedience to Him and to His Laws which govern all the affairs of men on this earth. 

When thoughts and ideas come into your mind or you feel the nudging of the Holy Spirit or you receive guidance and counsel from your mentor to do something about growing your business or expanding your circle of influence, Do What You Feel Led To Do !! 

Start doing what you  are being instructed or encouraged to do and then figure things out and make adjustments as you go and as you are performing that which you have been instructed to do!  Begin,…get moving,…start the process of achieving your own success.  Any and all mistakes or imperfections can be corrected later.
