Matthew 6 : 25–34 ESV
Do Not Be Anxious
(25) “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life,
what you will eat or what you will drink, nor bout your
body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food,
and the body more than clothing?
(26) Look at the birds of the air, they neither sow nor reap nor
gather into barns, and yet your heavenly father feeds
them. Are you not of more value than they?
(27) And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour
to his span of life?
(28) And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the
lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor
spin,
(29) yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not
arrayed like one of these.
(30) But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is
alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not
much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
(31) Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?‘
or ‘What shall we drink?‘ or ‘What shall we wear?’
(32) For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your
heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
(33) But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.
(34) Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for
tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the
day is its own trouble.”
“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin–they simply are! Think of the sea, the air, the sun, the stars, and the moon –all of these simply are as well–yet what a ministry and service they render on our behalf. So often we impair God’s designed influence, which He desires to exhibit through us, because of our own conscious efforts to be consistent and useful. Jesus said that there is only one way to develop and grow spiritually, and that is through focusing and concentrating on God. In essence, Jesus was saying, “Do not worry about being of use to others; simply believe on Me.” In other words, pay attention to the Source, and out of you “will flow rivers of living water” (See John 7 : 38). We cannot discover the source of our natural life through common sense and reasoning, and Jesus is teaching here that growth in our spiritual life comes not from focusing directly on it, but from concentrating on our Father in heaven. Our heavenly Father knows our circumstances, we will grow spiritually– just as “the lilies of the field.”
The people who influence us the most are not those who detain us with their continual talk, but those who live their lives like the stars in the sky and “the lilies of the field”–simply unaffectedly. Those are the lives that mold and shape us.
If you want to be of use to God, maintain the proper relationship with Jesus Christ by staying focused on Him, and He will make use of you every minute you live — yet you will be unaware, on the conscious level of your life, that you are being used of Him.”

My Utmost For His Highest
What is the real Secret to all Success?…The Lord Jesus Christ!…Plain and simple.
Now if you are already a born-again Believer in Jesus Christ, you are not offended by that Truth of Life and you full well realize the Truth when you see, hear, or read it. However, if you are not such a believer, you most probably take objection to this True Statement and already are formulating your heated rebuttal to it.
The One Name above all names, the Single Person that cuts straight through life right to the Truth of Life, and in so doing rips apart the lives of people on this earth is…Jesus Christ.
Mankind’s two biggest unanswered questions that dominate man’s desire to know the real Truth are…Where did I come from? and Why am I here on this earth?
The sad fact of life is that a vast majority of the population of the world does not know the true answer to either of these two questions.
Unless and until you accept The Lord Jesus Christ into your own personal heart and mind, as your Lord, Master, and Savior,…the answer to the Big Two Questions will forever remain a real secret to you. And mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual torment will be your constant traveling companion for the rest of your life.
Once Christ rules and reigns within your own heart and mind, then peace and calmness will rule your life and its living circumstances. You will be able to finally find peace of mind and long-term happiness.
God created man…not the other way around. He created man and woman and has a predetermined plan and purpose for the use of their personal lives here on earth and on into eternity. Mankind will never learn or come to know what God’s Plan and Purpose for their lives really is unless they individually become a Born-Again Believer in Jesus Christ.
God is very specific as to what must be done before you will ever be able to discover His Will for your personal life. God must be invited into your life before He can live within your heart. You have to invite Him in…
Once He has been invited to come into your heart and become your Lord and Savior, then He takes total charge of your life and through your obedience to doing what He commands you to do, all of your needs will be provided to you by your Lord. He promises to fill all of your needs and provide you all that is necessary for you to live an active, productive, and significant life on both sides of eternity.
Trust God today. Invite Him to come into your life and become the Lord, Master, and Savior of your life and make you into the person that He wants you to become! Thank you, Jesus! Amen.
God’s Greatest Blessings to All of You……………….
