We all know that almost everyone has a personal opinion, and that as Americans they have every right to have their own opinions. We also know that opinions are far different than facts and the actual state of affairs within the lives of our citizens. Opinions do not always base themselves on or reflect the facts of life or the actual true state of affairs.
Facts or the actual truth of the matters that exist are never to be argued as real truth does not change. It remains constant throughout all time. Consequently no argument is necessary as nothing will ever change no matter how much argument over it occurs. Truth is and remains truth! It is unchangeable!
Now I fully realize there will be some of you readers and listeners who will disagree with what I am about to discuss…But since I am speaking only the True Truth as God gives it to mankind through the power and authority of His written Word, no amount or degree of argument will change or alter any of what I am about to say. Permit me to suggest to you to listen,…listen to what I am saying now with an open mind and with an open heart. Give God a chance to talk to you.
Our heavenly Creator, God Almighty, makes no mistakes and tells no lies. By virtue of His own Character he is incapable of lying or speaking anything that is not the true truth of life. That is why the Word of God is infallible.
You either believe in God or you don’t. There is no middle ground or indecisive position regarding believing in God. You see, God has revealed Himself to mankind openly and boldly through three separate and distinct entities: (1) Creation, (2) Prophecy, and (3) His written Word. All three of these sources reveal the existence of a Creator before the very foundation of this world was brought into being. Every aspect of Creation is then backed up and confirmed through the Holy Bible. Every bit of this information is supported and substantiated through all of the sciences and the analysis and scrutiny of the mind of man. Facts are indeed facts and cannot be argued as they do not change. Here are the facts: (1) There is a God, (2) He is greater than man, and (3) God created man….not the other way around. That’s It! Period! One other very interesting and exciting fact you should know about the Word of God, The Holy Bible, that separates it from all other books ever written, is that it is the ONLY BOOK that accurately and completely predicts the future.
The Word of God was written by 40 different authors, in 66 individual books, over roughly a period of 1500 years, and in several different languages. And with all those parameters, there has never been found a real contradiction or mistake! Think about what I just said…..Absolutely incredible!
Having said all of this and using the reasoning based upon the facts I have just given you, let’s fast forward to the present and our political processes and designations of today. Our Government operates under a two party political system. As of today, each party has about equal size and strength, which is why there is so much political gridlock. They can’t agree and they won’t change. And there is no real majority. That is real leadership in its highest form, isn’t it?
Here are the actual Facts. There are two political parties that make up our political system of government:
(1) Republicans, also known as Conservatives, also known as being on the right wing side of our national government and its issues….and
(2) Democrats, also known as Liberals, also known as being the left wing side of our national government and its issues.
Let us all do a mini Bible Study to discover the truth of the matter concerning the Right and the Left. This is how God says it is to be.
Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, made it as clear as is possible when He spoke about the coming Judgement of Nations in The Book of Matthew, Chapter 25, verses 31–46 NKJV:
(31) “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
(32) All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
(33) And He will set the sheep on His RIGHT HAND, but the goats on the LEFT.
(34) Then the King will say to those on his RIGHT HAND, ‘Come you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
(35) for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
(36) I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
(37) Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?
(38) When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You?
(39) Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?
(40) And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
(41) Then He will also say to those on the LEFT HAND, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
(42) for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
(43) I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
(44) Then they will also answer Him, saying ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’
(45) Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’
(46) And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Another great distinction as to the importance of being on the Right Side of life comes to us from the Holy Scripture from the personal words of The Lord Jesus Christ when He is instructing his disciples as to where and on what side of the boat they should fish with their net if they truly desired to successfully catch a lot of big fish. This entire story is told in the Book of John, Chapter 21, verses 3–14 NKJV:
(3) “Simon Peter said to them, ‘I am going fishing.’ They said to him, ‘We are going with you also.’ They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
(4) But when the morning had now come, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
(5) Then Jesus said to them, ‘Children, have you any food?’ They answered Him, “No.”
(6) And He said to them, ‘Cast the net on the RIGHT SIDE of the boat, and you will find some.’ So they cast and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.
(7) Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, ‘It is the Lord!’ Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.
(8) But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits), dragging the net with fish.
(9) Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread.
(10) Jesus said to them, ‘Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.’
(11) Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken.
(12) Jesus said to them, ‘Come and eat breakfast.’ Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord.
(13) Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish.
(14) This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead.”
Now I think in an effort of fairness we should look at both sides of this coin….the question begs to be asked…what is the true origin of the political terms Right and Left? Keep in mind that Right attaches to Conservatives, and Left to Liberals. Now to all learned and well read and advised men and women, the Truth of Life is that God’s infallible Word, The Holy Bible, is the source of all truth that exists within and around the life of mankind. Its contents and teachings are irrefutable. Its declared truths are absolute. The Holy Scriptures are very clear on this subject. For just a few of many examples see The Book of Psalms, Chapter 100, verse 5 NKJV:
“For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting. And His truth endures to all generations.”
Again the Scriptures tell us in the Book of 1 Timothy, Chapter 3, verse 15, NKJV:
“but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of truth.”
God’s Word is specific. In the Book of John, chapter 1, verses 1, and 14, NKJV it reads:
(1) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
(14) “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as the only begotten of the Father,…full of grace and truth.”
But here is the Truth of the Word of God that makes it perfectly clear about the Right and the Left. It is in the Book of Ecclesiastes, Chapter 10, verse 2, NKJV:
“A wise man’s heart is at his right hand, But a fool’s heart at his left.”
It surely cannot get any simpler than that…..I know for absolute certain that I personally want to be on the right side of all things! I want to be a wise man.
There are so many other verses of Holy Scripture that tell us about the reliability of The Word of God and its trust-worthy-ness,… but suffice it to say that God’s Word is the Truth of Life itself.
As a closing point….let’s have a quick spelling lesson.
The last four letters in American……. I Can
The last four letters in Republican….. I Can
The last four letters in Democrats…… Rats
End of lesson.
The real test is to follow on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, Election Day.
Don’t Forget…
November 2014 is to be set aside as rodent removal month.
God wants us to be like Him…Conservative!
