\"\"<\/a>I personally was never very handy or good with any kind of work tools like a hammer or nails or saws or wrenches, nuts, washers or bolts.\u00a0 How about you?\u00a0 Power tools give me even more trouble.\u00a0 Blueprints and deciphering them has never been a long suit to my work ethic.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I guess I am not very \u201cmechanically-minded.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My little mind just cannot get wrapped around a \u201cto-scale\u201d two dimensional paper drawing and how that translates into a \u201cto-scale\u201d three dimensional finished product.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The only college level class that I ever flunked was a drafting class when I was a freshman in the college of engineering.\u00a0 I was devastated, but it was what it was…..I just couldn\u2019t take that engineer\u2019s blueprint and turn it into a three dimensional finished cube, or prism, or rectangular trapezoid….or other crazy things and shapes like that. \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Everybody\u2019s mind works a little differently doesn\u2019t it?<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us make no mistake about it.\u00a0 Tools, be they manual or power driven, are extremely vital and important in order to perform and complete the physical work needed to finish in any type of work project.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tools make the work easier, they allow the work to be completed at a faster more efficient pace, and they permit the worker to do more work in a shorter period of time.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Manual tools and their proper use are a very good thing.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Power tools and their proper use are a much better thing.<\/i><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anytime someone tries to do the required work of any type project without the proper tools, things just don\u2019t and won\u2019t go together as they should.\u00a0 The result is lost time, money, and resources.\u00a0 This is not a good situation.\u00a0 No one will benefit much, if any, from this type of produced results.\u00a0 Sufficient and correct available tools are an absolute necessity.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So if you want good and valuable results in the form of a satisfactory\u00a0<\/span>completed work project, you must have:\u00a0 (1) A good plan, (2) proper and adequate tools, (3) properly qualified and adequate supervision of the labor force, (4) sufficient raw materials and (5) resolute determination to complete the entire project.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All five of the prerequisites must be in place and ready to be used as necessary if the project is to be completed as desired.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Here is how the whole thing actually works:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Preplanning and perseverance are prerequisites to starting the<\/span>\u00a0project. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 Stick-to-it-tiveness is needed to complete the project.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Continuity of sustained work ethic is the glue that holds it all<\/span>\u00a0together.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The tools just make the work go quicker and more efficiently.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So let us look at the modern day manual and power tools that are to be used as you build and grow your own business.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

First are the manual tools, they deal with education and understanding:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A.\u00a0 Reading good books, magazines, journals, and other published\u00a0<\/span>materials that pertain directly to the building and growing\u00a0<\/span>procedures applicable to your own particular business.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

B.\u00a0 Studying the successful people and examples provided by those<\/span>\u00a0previous leaders who have gone before you and done that which<\/span>\u00a0you are trying to do.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

C.\u00a0 Listening to produced CD\u2019s and watching DVD\u2019s made by<\/span>\u00a0successful people who have accomplished what it is that you are<\/span>\u00a0attempting to do.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Second are the power tools, they deal with speedy and efficient work.\u00a0 They are magnifiers of your work efforts:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

D.\u00a0 Professional seminars, conferences, and training functions and<\/span>\u00a0formal gatherings.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

E.\u00a0 Motivational functions and inspirational gatherings of successful<\/span>\u00a0people operating in the same or similar fields of endeavor.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

F.\u00a0 Communications with other groups, organizations or individuals via\u00a0<\/span>telephone, computer operations and other IT networks and<\/span>\u00a0websites.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

G.\u00a0 Associating with other successful people who will mentor and teach\u00a0<\/span>you to better perform the required tasks of completing that which<\/span>\u00a0you are accomplishing with your resources.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Always remember that you must first learn what and how to do a task correctly that will produce a preplanned desired result.\u00a0 Once you know what to do and how to do it, then you will need to bring together a team of people that will labor together to achieve the final result.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Know what you are going to do and do it.\u00a0 Keep doing it until the job is fully completed!<\/span><\/p>\n

No breaks, no vacations, and no sabbaticals until the job is finished.<\/span><\/p>\n

Put together the finished project,…complete the mission,…. and then celebrate of successful victory.\u00a0 Do those three things in the order given and every body wins!<\/span><\/p>\n
