\"\"<\/a>Some people are able to perform tasks, assignments, or business operations as individuals while others seem to work better when they are part of a team. Team sports vary greatly from individual sports. A person\u2019s performance as one (by themselves) or as one of several (as a member of a team) must be just as complete and as committed and thorough,…if the person or the team is to win, accomplish, or achieve as he, she, or them have purposed to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

A combined, persistent, and continuous committed work effort is the key to the final accomplishment of the performer(s). Breaks, sabbaticals, time off, extended rest periods, and\/or failure to perform are simply unacceptable and have no place in the overall or combined work effort of the winning person or team. If you desire to do your full part and make your needed contribution to the winning effort,…you must perform and keep on performing in a consistent and persistent fashion and manner. This is the price of success that must be paid if victory is to be achieved.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You should always expect this type of commitment and performance not only from yourself and thereby set the right example for others to follow and duplicate, but also from every other member of the team effort. Personal accountability by and from every person who is part of the overall effort must be made by each individual who is a contributing member of this team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone must continually do their share of the work if the group or team is to win.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Consistency and persistency of the work ethic are the pillars on which real success is built.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The whole concept is really quite simple. No one person succeeds all by himself. Real success always involves more than one human being. A team effort always accomplishes more than does just one individual effort.<\/strong> The Lord, our God, knew this to be the case. And therefore told us this truth within the Holy Scriptures in the Book of Ecclesiastes, Chapter 4, verses 9–12, NKJV:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Value of a Friend<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(9) \u201cTwo are better than one,<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n Because they have a good reward for their labor.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(10) For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n But woe to him who is alone when he falls,<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n For he has no one to lift him up.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(11) Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm;<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n But how can one be warm alone?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(12) Though one may be overpowered by another, two can<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n with stand him.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n And a threefold chord is not quickly broken.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Now I will tell you, because I do truly love you, that if and\/or when you voluntarily become a member of any team, even if you think you are only responsible for yourself,…there are always some significant personal responsibilities that are on your own shoulders, and for which you are personally accountable to the team.<\/span><\/p>\n

A team of one,…is just too small of a number to generate great success.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A team wins only when every member of it does their share of the work.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

There are so many men and women who are part of a team for a great variety of reasons and they voluntarily accept the personal responsibility to do their own share of the necessary work efforts. They willingly commit to do their share, but in the end of things they fall short of the mark and do not actually do<\/span> what is assigned or required of them. They are a team member in name only.<\/span> These type people want all of the recognition, notoriety, and rewards of being a successful team member,…they just don\u2019t want to work and contribute to the team by doing all of their personal share of the effort required to win.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These partially committed and half-contributing, (or free-loading) team members actually wind up pulling the team down,…causing the team to lose the contest,…by disqualifying it as a result of their own failure to perform. These folks are not bad or incapable people. No, not at all, they are just on the team and make a minimum or no contribution to the team. They just seem to be a along for the ride.<\/span><\/p>\n

For any team to win and be rewarded, each team member\u2019s contribution is vital and is required. Whenever a nonperforming team member exists, it hurts the whole team\u2019s effort and related outcome.<\/span><\/p>\n

The winning team is always the one who most consistently performs all of their necessary duties.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

They don\u2019t balk at their assigned duties, they don\u2019t do part of their assigned work efforts, they don\u2019t try to do what is required of them. They are willing to pay full price to accomplish all of their assignments so that the team can accomplish its mission<\/strong> and for the team to win the battle, and achieve its victory for now and into the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

For success to be accomplished, it has to become a real and total forgone conclusion before the first efforts to achieve it are expended.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you try to succeed, you most probably will fail. If you make things happen towards your own favor and \u201crefuse to lose\u201d by continually paying full price to win, you most probably will succeed!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Success must first happen within your own mind, before it is played out on the actual physical battlefield of applied effort.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So if you want to win, and if you are willing to pay full price regardless the expense or what it actually winds up costing you, you then are in possession of the primary ingredients to make the recipe for success to happen for yourself and for all members of your team. Such a desired result is what all team members must possess and portray through their individual personal work habits and efforts.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you want to win and be a valuable and rewarded team player, then you simply have to make your daily committed contribution to the total team effort.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Success is not accomplished through a sporadic or part-time effort or involvement. Success is never built using a \u201chit and miss\u201d work ethic. No man ever succeeds part of the time. Success is a full time continuous effort. That\u2019s It, Period!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

These required continual on-going work ethics are the things that make for great success in any chosen arena of performance. Are you doing your share of the work to accomplish the team mission? I sincerely hope you can answer \u201cyes\u201d to this question.<\/span><\/p>\n
