Being a Real Man is a Personal Choice<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

All good and complete recipes require all the proper ingredients to be mixed together and correctly cooked if the fine tasting end result is to be accomplished. So it is with real manhood. It is one thing to be a male. It is quite another to be a real man.<\/strong> The Creator of the Universe made Adam (man) first of the human species. Man came first. He was designed to be the head. He was created out of the earth. His purpose was to provide for and to protect the woman and all family members.<\/strong> Eve was created out of Adam to be his completer,…to be his help mate. Eve was designed to complete and fulfill the man.<\/strong> Now, of course, both the man and the woman had many other roles to play and responsibilities to perform, but such things were subordinate to their primary God-designed individual divine purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now let\u2019s make certain that you absolutely understand that God did not make the man or the woman superior to the opposite sex. He created them male and female. Although they were opposite of each other, they were equal to each other. Man was to be the head. Woman was to be the neck.<\/strong> It is indeed the wise man who understands and allows the neck to turn the head.<\/span><\/p>\n

God Almighty created man and woman for His own good pleasure.<\/strong> To them both He gave the ability to procreate their own children for the very same purpose and reason.<\/span><\/p>\n

God placed his finest creations in the Garden of Eden, in a perfect environment for them to grow, mature, marry, and populate the world. Everything was perfect for them until they disobeyed God\u2019s instructions. Disobedience was the gateway for sin to enter the world. It all came about as the result of and through the original sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.<\/strong> This \u201cFall of Man\u201d ushered the power of sin into the lives of all mankind. Nothing has been the same since that time. Biblical scholars estimate all these events occurred about 7,500 years ago,…somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,000 to 5,500 B.C.<\/span><\/p>\n

Three things in our life never change: God, Sin, and Human Nature.<\/strong> Because of this continual on-going fact of life, people are totally predictable when using these three life constants. If it is truly long term <\/span>
\nhappiness and peace of mind for which you are searching, may I suggest to you that you discover these mentioned truths of life and fully understand them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sin is anything and everything that takes you further away from God and His Laws, and therefore it should be avoided at all costs. As a matter of fact, God\u2019s Word tells us to flee from all sin!…Not to merely avoid it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

With all that being said, let\u2019s return to today\u2019s article of discussion….<\/span><\/p>\n

My comments are not intended to be critical or harmful to any particular reader or listener. However, this is a difficult subject to cover and consequently for those who are currently living in and\/or with some type or degree of sin,…it will, no doubt, cause a certain amount of pain. The Bible clearly warns us that the wages of sin is death. Take notice!<\/span><\/p>\n

The facts are that men in this country today are in big trouble.<\/strong> Men are in deep trouble with sin. The Bible says that wherever your treasure is, there also will be your heart. In other words, where you spend your time and money, (i.e. your treasure) will be the primary determinant as to where and how you spend your life. One more truth of life is that the person you will become depends upon your mental environment<\/strong>….It depends upon the books you read and the people with whom you associate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Clinical studies have shown that the five main areas where American men spend their money are: Electronics, sports, cars, gambling, and alcohol.<\/strong> These areas of involvement should give you great clues as to how men today are living a self-centered sinful life. Remember, the very root of all sin is selfishness!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It all begins with temptation.<\/strong> American males (you can\u2019t really call them men) are struggling greatly, are stumbling uncontrollably, and are proving to be notoriously weak in the face of temptation. The rampant spread of internet pornography is devouring men\u2019s souls like a new and deadly form of cancer.<\/strong> It causes havoc and destruction in marriages and public lives. This situation is happening everywhere. It is happening with both men and women. The decay of sin surrounds us and our families. It is for absolute certain that our situation is not going anywhere good. Something has got to change, right now!<\/span><\/p>\n

Drugs, alcohol, pornography, unrighteous living, lack of respect for the law and with other societal authority is having great and immediate negative influence and long-term impact on those we love the most. In short, we are losing our own kids! Even when marriages remain unbroken and in tact, there are far too many children growing up in dysfunctional homes, without the positive influences of what God designed good fathers to give to their wives and children.<\/strong> I will boldly tell you that paternity is a far cry from what good and godly fatherhood is all about. Two-income families may relieve financial pressure, but it certainly does not prepare kids for the moral minefield that is waiting to detonate and destroy their hopes and dreams for the future. A foolish and stupid mistake today may, in fact, destroy all of a child\u2019s happiness and productivity they could have accomplished tomorrow and on into the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

The biggest trouble facing men today is their lack of (shallow) or totally failed (nonexistent) personal spirituality.<\/strong> Please listen carefully. In a 2013 Forbes article entitled \u201c14 Things Successful People Do on Weekends,\u201d there isn\u2019t even a mention of or about God, attending a local church, or visiting the elderly, the in-firmed, or the handicapped. Activities such as these these bore males today as much as going shopping with their wives and families to Target or Walmart.<\/span><\/p>\n

Real men want to do something hard. Real men want to be challenged to stretch and test the limits of who they are. God Almighty originally designed them that way.<\/strong> The call on mankind is <\/span>for them to become (grow into) something much higher and greater than that which they have presently accomplished.<\/span><\/p>\n

This very thing is what this website, www.Dave Severn.com<\/strong> is all about. It is for these reasons and purposes the information being provided to you has been presented. Read it, study it, learn it, apply it in your own life first, and then share it with all other people you know and care about.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Permit me to share with you some more bad news about American men. Today, men don\u2019t work on themselves.<\/strong> The truth of the matter is that most women put forth continual efforts to learn and improve themselves. The biggest category of books offered for sale is \u201cself-help.\u201d It is the women who are buying these type books so as to learn how best they can grow and become more than they are! The men aren\u2019t reading them. They are browsing through hunting and fishing magazines, comic type books, insignificant fantasy video games and sports magazines. In short, men are mostly looking for personal pleasure outside of their families. Here is the unabridged truth: Males work on projects, females work on themselves. Guys roof the garage, paint the basement, and fix the kids\u2019 bikes; women think about personal relationships and focus their attention on their families. The God-designated head of the family (man) is disappearing from the scene. America is losing its manhood!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Now relax, I well know that there exceptions to these many bold and broad generalizations,…but you must remember that the exceptions are precisely what winds up proving the general rule.<\/span><\/p>\n

Real manhood. Real and constant adherence to the purpose and reason God created a man to be the head of the woman and later the family is because God\u2019s planned purpose for man is that he is to carry the personal responsibility of meeting and filling all of the family\u2019s needs. True leadership comes from the front of the group…comes from the top down. Man\u2019s load is much greater than that for the woman, that is also why God made a man\u2019s shoulders bigger, wider, and stronger than those of his mate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being a real man is a personal choice.<\/strong> Success and happiness are derivatives of being a real man and living a godly and righteous life in addition to fulfilling your God-designed purposes. The man is the head for several good reasons. When he is all man (100%), then and only then can the woman be all that God intended her to be. You be obedient to your God-given purposes and you will become highly successful in all of the important areas of your life.<\/span><\/p>\n
