\u201cRemember comedian Flip Wilson\u2019s old line, \u201cDa debil made me do it\u201d? Here was this character who had obviously done something bad. But instead of taking the blame, he pointed an accusing finger at \u201cda debil.\u201d Why did we laugh? We weren\u2019t just laughing at his hilarious routines; we were laughing at ourselves\u2014at one of our favorite indoor games: The Blame Game. And since he is altogether wicked and invisible and unable to challenge our accusation in audible tones, there\u2019s no better scapegoat than old Lucifer himself.<\/span><\/p>\n

But when this practice becomes a daily habit, it stops being funny and starts being phony. It\u2019s when we become escape artists, dodging the responsibility of our own disobedience, that we carry the thing too far. Not just blaming Satan for every evil action, but finding him in every nook and cranny….thinking he is the subtle force behind all wicked events and encounters.<\/strong> It\u2019s the age-old conspiracy mentality.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are those, for example, who see and hear the devil in certain types of music. They tell us to play the tapes backwards and we can hear the subliminal satanic message….which seems a lot like reading a book in a mirror to detect its evil connotation. Strange. They warn us against Proctor and Gamble because the beard of a face in the tiny logo includes 666. Don\u2019t laugh. So many believed this that the company was forced to spend a fortune trying to combat fears of a satanic connection.<\/span><\/p>\n

You and I know there is a devil and a host of demons. There is an authentic \u201cprince of the power of the air,\u201d whose sole goal is to infect and influence with evil.<\/strong> He is on the prowl (1Pet. 5 : 8 ) , diabolical in nature and deceptive in method. (2 Cor. 11 : 3). He is responsible for much wickedness, but not all of it\u2014there\u2019s also the world and the flesh, remember (1John 2 : 15-16). If he cannot get us entrapped in one extreme, where he\u2019s an imaginary prankster with horns, pitchfork, and red long johns….then it\u2019s the other, where he is everywhere in everything, embodying everyone, and we start listening to music backwards and sniffing out signs of 666 in labels, license plates, and leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

C\u2019mon, Christian, let\u2019s wise up. We look foolish enough in the eyes of the lost without giving them fuel for the fire. Leave the funny stuff for the comedians and the phony stuff for fanatics. We\u2019ve got our hands full maintaining a sensible balance on the tightrope of truth. For if there is one thing \u201cda debil\u201d can\u2019t stand,… it\u2019s the truth.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The great constant battle for man\u2019s mind rages all day every day. It is God vs Satan, The Truth vs The Lie. Whichever force wins the battle determines the fate of the man in whose brain the battle rages.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We can poke fun and make all the jokes we want, but the fact of the matter is that the battle continues to rage within all people\u2019s minds.<\/strong> Whichever force is the strongest and most powerful in any mortal\u2019s mind will be the eventual winner.<\/span><\/p>\n

The stakes are high: Eternity in Heaven if God wins the battle, Eternity in Hell if the winner is Satan. Your thoughts, convictions and beliefs are the weapons of war. Your daily preparation through constant effort or failure to arm yourself through indifference or laziness will be the difference between victory or defeat.<\/span><\/p>\n

A vast majority of the people on earth today don\u2019t have the slightest idea that such a daily battle is being conducted. They, through ignorance, indifference, and\/or laziness fail to arm themselves through knowledge, study, counsel and knowledgeable conversation with qualified personnel. When their minds are attacked, they are easily defeated, almost painlessly because of their complete lack of knowledge and understanding. At their physical death, they will spend eternity in Hell….How terribly sad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our God confirms what I just related to you in His Holy Word, Psalms 1 : 6 NKJV<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cFor the LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

God goes on to say in the Book of HOSEA, 4 : 6 NKJV<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge,<\/span><\/strong>
\nI will also reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

These are very scary statements from our Holy God.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Once physical death over takes you, there is nothing that can be done to correct your spiritual condition.<\/span><\/p>\n

God gives you total control of your own brain and its related thought processes. You and you alone are responsible for the thoughts and decisions you make.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lack of knowledge, lack of emotional control, or complete indifference are the usual attributes of those who spend eternity in Hell. DO NOT LET THAT HAPPEN TO YOU!!! WAKE UP AND WISE UP!!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Win the battle for your mind on the side of God.<\/span><\/strong>
\nGet your life right with your God.<\/span><\/strong>
\nInsure your own place in Heaven for all eternity.<\/span><\/strong>
\nAccept The Lord Jesus Christ into your heart right now!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
