\"\"<\/b><\/span><\/a>Success will happen in anyone\u2019s life whenever two separate things occur simultaneously….whenever OPPORTUNITY and PREPAREDNESS meet……It is a major focal point of your life.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The sad facts are that all too often the great opportunity presents itself into the life of a desirous person….but goes on unaccepted and unused all because the individual to whom the opportunity was presented was simply unwilling or unprepared to grasp it.<\/span><\/p>\n

It should be noted by all those who desire to become successful, that the fact is…..Success Does Not Attack.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Success Is Not An Accident….Success Is A Planned Event.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Before I go any further into this discussion I must stop and ask you, the reader, three vital questions:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 <\/span>Do you really truly want to become successful ?<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 <\/span>Are you totally prepared for success to occur in your life ?<\/span><\/p>\n

3. \u00a0Are you in the right position to allow an opportunity to come into your\u00a0<\/span>life that will enable you to succeed ?<\/span><\/p>\n

Once you have answered these questions honestly and openly you will have some idea or indication as to whether or not you are a candidate for success.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here is a little progression of events that I have observed over the past 36 + years that make or break an individual in their move from wanting to be successful to actually becoming successful.\u00a0 <\/span>It goes like this:<\/span><\/p>\n

I wish<\/span><\/p>\n

I want<\/span><\/p>\n

I NEED——I GOT<\/span><\/p>\n

Wishing gets you started…Wanting keeps you going….But only NEEDING gets the job done. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Until you truly Need<\/b> to have something accomplished in your life……you will most likely never totally commit to pay the full price to succeed and do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to actually become successful as you fulfill your needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s examine each of these above three questions.<\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 <\/span>Do you really truly want to become successful?<\/span><\/p>\n

Unless and until you know who you really are and what you are really<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>involved in that will allow you the opportunity to s<\/span>ucceed,\u00a0<\/span>you most<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>probably won\u2019t be ready to pay full price to accomplish your desire. \u00a0<\/span>(I wish…I want…I NEED…I got).<\/span>
\nDo you want to become successful<\/span>…or…better yet… Do you Need to become successful?<\/span><\/p>\n

Before you can completely answer this question you must have a Dream.\u00a0<\/span>A Dream that is so big, and so clear that it<\/b>\u00a0arrests your mental\u00a0<\/b><\/span>attention.\u00a0 <\/span><\/b>It has to be something tangible or intangible that you cannot\u00a0<\/span>achieve in your present <\/span>capacity…and… it has to be something so big in\u00a0<\/span>scope that you cannot achieve it just using your own personal talents and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>
\nabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you have a dream that qualifies to allow you to become successful?<\/span><\/p>\n

No one can dream for you…It has to be YOUR DREAM.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 <\/span>Are you totally prepared for success to occur in your life?<\/span><\/p>\n

Success is not going to happen for you if you are \u201c sort-of \u201d committed to\u00a0<\/span>its accomplishment.\u00a0 <\/span>Do you have your priorities\u00a0<\/span>right ?\u00a0 <\/span>Can you\u00a0<\/span>eliminate the significant distractions in your schedule that will give you<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>enough extra free time to<\/span>\u00a0accomplish your goals that are going to carry\u00a0<\/span>you on to success ?\u00a0 <\/span>Finally are you willing to give up (sacrifice) some<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>frivolous things or events that will hinder you from a consistent work\u00a0<\/span>effort that will be required to allow you to achieve\u00a0<\/span>your own desires?<\/span><\/p>\n

3. \u00a0Are you in the right position to allow an opportunity in your life that will\u00a0<\/span>enable you to succeed?\u00a0 <\/span>You cannot just hop up<\/span>\u00a0onto a log and roll off the\u00a0<\/span>other side and easily slip into a successful life.\u00a0 <\/span>Full price must be paid on\u00a0<\/span>your part.\u00a0 <\/span>All the dues<\/span>\u00a0must be paid by you.\u00a0 <\/span>No one can pay them\u00a0<\/span>for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

The required parameters to permit you to achieve your desired level of<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>success must be put into place before you will ever<\/span>\u00a0receive the stated\u00a0<\/span>benefits.\u00a0 <\/span>Don\u2019t try to take short cuts or get to where you want to go on\u00a0<\/span>less than what you are told are<\/span>\u00a0the prerequisites for the level of success\u00a0<\/span>you say you want to accomplish.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To be successful you need to do the following four things totally and completely.\u00a0 <\/span>You Must:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 <\/span>Know WHAT<\/b> it is that you really want….and WHEN<\/b>\u00a0 <\/span>you really want to accomplish it,<\/span><\/p>\n

2.\u00a0 <\/span>Know WHAT<\/b> you are willing to GIVE UP<\/b> in order to get what it is that you really want.<\/span><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 <\/span>ASSOCIATE <\/b>with other successful people who can help you get what it is that you really want.<\/span><\/p>\n

…………………..and finally……………………….<\/span><\/p>\n

4.\u00a0 <\/span>PLAN YOUR WORK AND CONSISTENTLY WORK YOUR PLAN.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

To allow your success to happen, you need to listen with an open mind and an open heart to the instructions from those people who are willing to teach you, and then be prepared to act on the instruction they have given you.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the noble thoughts, magnificent plans, and \u201csecrets\u201d of achievement in the world are of little value unless and until they are put into action.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your worth is always determined by your deeds, not by your good intentions, however noble they may be.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

You do all of these things and follow the advice and counsel of your mentor.\u00a0 <\/span>Stay steady with your work ethic.\u00a0 <\/span>Keep a positive mental attitude.\u00a0 <\/span>Don\u2019t let anybody steal your dream…..AND………<\/span><\/p>\n

YOU WILL MAKE IT…….YOU WILL SUCCEED.<\/span><\/p>\n

A closing thought.\u00a0 <\/span>Martin Luther King, Jr. once correctly said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t have to see the whole staircase, just to take the first step.\u201d<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

GOOD LUCK AND REMEMBER TO ENJOY THE JOURNEY<\/span><\/p>\n

When you get to the top of the mountain the view is the same for all.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
