Who is The One True God in Whom I Personally Believe<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In a most sincere and humble effort to clarify just who my God really is, and just why I personally believe, trust, and obey Him; and why I so often refer to Him and His Holy Word within the confines of this website:<\/span>\u00a0www.davesevern.com that I provide to you my personal Spiritual Foundation supporting my beliefs. It truly is my heart\u2019s desire to make my personal position and point of reference perfectly clear to any and all who would use this website.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am a Born-Again, blood-bought, Christian Believer and Worshipper of my personal Lord, Master, and Savior, Jesus Christ (Jesus of Nazareth). I have been spiritually saved and baptized (fully submerged) in complete accordance with and obedience to the instructions given by God Almighty, Himself, as recorded within the pages of the Holy Bible. I completely believe that the Holy Bible is the Divinely inspired, inerrant, infallible, unarguable, and true Word of God. I believe in the Triune Godhead,\u2026the Trinity\u2026God, the Father, God, the Son, and God, the Holy Spirit\u2026Three separate persons all in One.<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe in and worship God Almighty, the Creator of all the Universe, and everything that is on or in it. I believe in the Great I Am, the One and only true God,\u2026The God, of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I unashamedly believe and trust in all of the Holy Scriptures as the true truth of life itself\u2026.without error, without mistake, and without contradiction.<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe in my Living Lord Jesus Christ; who was born of a virgin; who came to the earth as a testimony of the truth; who lived, preached, and performed miracles for approximately 33 years; who was crucified and died upon a cross in Jerusalem as full payment for all of man\u2019s sins: past, present, and future; who was buried in a borrowed tomb; and who was three days later was raised again (resurrected) back to full life from the grave as the Living Son of the Living God, and whose Living Holy Spirit guides and directs all Christian Believers today.<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe with all of my heart, mind, and spirit that Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. May I say to you, that there is only one mediator between man and God. That one mediator is the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe that there is only one true God, and that is, of course, the God of the Holy Bible. I believe in the words, guidance, and direction given by the One Holy God as recorded in both the Old and New Testaments; unapologetically, and without any exceptions, stipulations, conditions, or other reservations.<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe in God\u2019s true truth concerning the salvation of man\u2019s soul, the only pathway to heaven and all eternity, as clearly stated in the Book of Romans, Chapter 10, verses 9\u201413, ESV:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

(9) \u201cBecause, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord<\/span><\/strong>
\n and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,<\/span><\/strong>
\n you will be saved.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(10) for with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the<\/span><\/strong>
\n mouth one confesses and is saved.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(11) For the Scripture says, \u2018Everyone who believes in him will<\/span><\/strong>
\n not be put to shame.\u2019<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(12) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the<\/span><\/strong>
\n same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call<\/span><\/strong>
\n on him.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

(13) For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n saved.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I am indeed a Believer in the saving grace of God through the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. I am a sinner, saved by grace. Make no mistake about it! Nothing on this side of heaven could or ever will make me change my position, perspective, or understanding on or about this most precious personal and eternal matter.<\/span><\/p>\n

My hope and belief in the God of the Holy Bible is the same as is told to us through the old gospel hymn, \u201cMy Hope is Built on Nothing Less:\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy hope is built on nothing less<\/span>
\n Than Jesus\u2019 blood and righteousness;<\/span>
\n I dare not trust the sweetest frame,<\/span>
\n But wholly lean on Jesus\u2019 name.<\/span>
\n On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;<\/span>
