If you have ever taken the time to study the really great men and women of achievement in America, (past and present) it won’t take very long for you to begin to see the great extent of diversity of individual abilities, backgrounds, and performances. It is this very diversity of individuals that really is the basis of our American strength. These great people of accomplishment are not all cut out of the same bolt of cloth. Quite the contrary, all people are totally different from one another and they are unique unto themselves. Like snowflakes, all individuals are dissimilar. They all have different physical and spiritual gifts from their Creator. None are identical to another even in the case of identical twins! You see, friends, God made you very special. He made you completely different from all of the other people He has or will ever make to live on this earth.
If you are ever to become successful in this life, you will have to learn the truth of my last statement, embrace it, and then perform while living your own life in the manner and way that is commensurate with your own specialness and unique abilities. You are indeed one-of-a-kind! You don’t need to be anyone else,…you are just fine, just the way you are!
Until you finally come to realize just how unique and blessed you really are as a free American living in a country that operates under the economic system known as Free Enterprise, you will definitely struggle and fail to reach the God-given purpose for your own life.
There are many of God’s Laws that come into play within the activities of your life on a daily basis. Each one of them has a special and specific reason, use, and purpose for the living of your life. Personal obedience to His Laws is the key that unlocks the door to God’s Storehouse of Blessings that He has waiting for you! Obedience to follow His Laws is, of course, your own personal choice. Success is totally up to you.
You never violate God’s Laws,…you only confirm them. Permit me to tell you a few things that you should know and always keep in the forefront of your own mind. I call these rules of living, the Truths of Life:
1. God abhors a vacuum.
2. Something can never come out of nothing.
3. There is no such thing as a “free lunch.”
4. If one does not work, he should not eat.
5. God loves a cheerful giver.
6. God is no respecter of persons.
7. You must first give, before you are ever able to receive.
8. Honesty is always the best policy.
9. Everything you do should be done as if you were doing to and for the Lord.
10. Love and serve God.
11. Love and serve your neighbor.
If you will arm yourself early in life with a good and solid base of knowledge and understanding, good and proper social manners, and treat other people exactly the way that you yourself would want them to treat you,…you will be miles ahead of all other people on earth. That God-given and developed “lead” or “edge” will put you in the very best position to win at the game of life. Caution…these are all learned skills. Couple them with a good command of the English language both verbally and in writing and you will catapult yourself to the top of the field of endeavor that you have chosen to passionately pursue.
You must first plant (sow) before you can earn the right to reap. You must first give before you can earn the right to receive. You must first make a deposit before you can earn the right to withdraw. You must first love God and other people before they can ever love you back. Leaders always take the initiative. Leaders always are the first to plant, to give, and to set the example and the pace. That is why you will attract to you what you are,…not what you want. Action on your part is what will draw a good crowd out of the masses who will commit to themselves and to you, the leader, to become committed and obedient followers.
Perform the required work in its entirety before expecting any personal reward to be received.
Being an American provides you with the opportunity to chart your own course in life,…to become the captain of your own ship,…to choose the path you desire to travel with the living of your own life. It is called being Personally Free! It is called American Liberty!
Its counterpart is also available for your taking if you so choose. Because of the Free Enterprise System of American business and economics, you have the right to start, own, and operate a business for yourself with unrestricted rights of expansion. These two precious available gifts form the foundation and ability of you, an American, to become Financially Independent!
Like all gifts, they must be accepted and received before they have any value. Like all of life, you first have to perform before you collect your pay. The path to success is quite simple unless you, the individual, make it more complicated and confusing. This is all part of being a free American.
