Philippians 1 : 2  NKJV

“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus

  Christ.”

God’s grace is not earned….thank goodness!

To earn God’s love and His gift of eternal life would be far beyond the abilities of even the most righteous man or woman.

Thankfully, grace is not an earthly reward for righteous behavior; it is a blessed spiritual gift which can be accepted by believers who dedicate themselves to God through Christ.

When we accept Christ into our hearts, WE ARE SAVED BY HIS GRACE.

The familiar words of Ephesians 2 : 8  NKJV make God’s promise perfectly clear:

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.”

We are saved not because of our good deeds but because of our faith in Christ.

“Forgiveness is the precondition of love.” asserted Catherine Marshall.

“God forgets the past.  Imitate Him.” so said Max Lucado.

God’s grace is the ultimate gift, and we owe to Him the ultimate in thanksgiving.  Let us praise the Creator for His priceless gift, and let us share the Good News with all who cross our paths.

Shirley Dobson stated:  “I believe that forgiveness can become a continuing cycle:  because God forgives us, we’re to forgive others; because we forgive others, God forgives us.  Scripture presents both parts of the cycle.”

We return our Father’s love by accepting His grace and by sharing His message and His love.  When we do, we are eternally blessed….and the Father smiles.

“When God forgives, He forgets.  He buries our sins in the sea and puts a sign on the shore saying, ‘No Fishing Allowed.”

A Teacher’s Prayer

Dear Lord, I have fallen short of Your commandments, and You have forgiven me.  You have blessed me with Your love and Your mercy.  Enable me to be merciful toward others, Father, just as You have been merciful to me, and let me share Your love with all whom I meet.   Amen”

We as believers today are instructed by our Father, God, to love the unlovable and to forgive the unforgivable.  The reason why is very simple…..because Jesus did just that for us over 2,000 years ago.  Once we invite Christ into our hearts and He becomes the indwelling power of our lives, then we, as obedient followers in Christ, need to live our lives just as He did.

As conversion happens to us at our moment of Salvation, we become a new creature.  We change…..we think, we act, and we behave differently.  The old man passes away, and the new man boldly steps forward.  Faithfulness and obedience become the watch words of our life.  Everything is new and different as to how we conduct ourselves.

What a beautiful and free gift we have been given by our Creator!  Our newfound freedom and graciousness is so uplifting and inflating.  We feel as if we could almost soar as we go about living our life.

The beauty of living a Christian life is very exciting and fun-filled.  We really aren’t being restricted in any sense, but rather we are being liberated to really live and rejoice.  That is exactly the way that God intended for us to live.

If you desire a life of peace, calmness, and quiet confidence, then you need to accept God’s free gift of Grace.

Grace is defined as unmerited favor.  It is indeed just that.  We cannot earn it, demand it, order it, or manufacture it.  It is a free gift from our Creator to each of us personally.  It is the golden opportunity of your entire life.  It is a chance to invite Christ to come into your life and become your own personal Lord, Master, and Savior.  It is the only way that you can develop a personal relationship with The Living God.  It is the “Doorway to Eternity” for your soul.

God’s Grace, your personal acceptance of Jesus Christ into your own life to take total control of your life and indwell you with His Holy Spirit….i.e……to become a Christian, is the only way by which you insure a place for yourself in Heaven,…  in all Eternity.  Oh, the glory of God.  Oh, how much He truly does love us!

There is no need for you to continue to struggle and fight your way through the obstacle course of life.  You need a guide….  A lighted pathway….A well marked trail….Life can be so much easier to live and enjoy once you have Christ in your heart.  His Holy Word comforts us when it says in the Book of MATTHEW  11 :  28-30 :

(28)   “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

(29)   Take my yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

(30)   For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

That pretty much says it all.  Our God is always there for us to lean on for extra support in order to help us as we trudge through the “mires” of life.

So many distractions, burdens and derailments must be navigated as we journey along.  Do not despair!  We are told in the Holy Bible in The  Book of ROMANS  8 : 28:

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the  called according to His purpose.”

It is for these reasons, once you have Christ in your heart, all you have to do is the right and proper godly thing with your life.  Learn and know the Truth of life and then share the Good News of the Gospel of Christ with any and all those who want to know about Him.

See It Big and Keep It Simple.  Walk in Truth and Love and permit the Holy Spirit to guide and direct your steps….make sure that in all that you do with your life that you glorify and magnify The LORD JESUS….and all will be well with your soul.

God’s Greatest Blessings to all of you.
