The one thing that separates The Holy Bible from all other books ever written is that it is the only book that accurately, without mistake or contradiction, predicts the future. Everyone of the many hundreds of Bible Prophesies, because of the sovereignty of Creator God, have occurred precisely to the actual date and conditions so forecasted by the voicing prophets. Without exception they have been accurately foretold. Such prophesies can be taken as truth and relied upon to occur exactly as they are prophesied.
God did a wonderful service and blessing to mankind when He (directed) the forty different authors over a time period of some 1500 years as recorded within the pages of 66 different books, in several different languages to pen His words as documented within the Holy Bible. His Word is unarguable. It is irrefutable. It is immutable. It is the True Truth! It is what it says It is!
There is one particular Book within the Bible in which God commands all of us, in ancient biblical days as well as today, “to Remember.” This main theme of the Book of Deuteronomy continually directs that all people, regardless of origin or background, should remember what God has done for them,…continues to do for them,…and promises to do for them in the future.
You see, all too often, man in his own arrogance and haughtiness thinks and says that what ever happened, was accomplished, or took place,…it was he, an individual, who did it all by himself,…or that he was the one who did most all of the work,…or that his intelligence and cleverness were the real difference in getting something significant or profitable accomplished….Nonsense! If you but read the Bible in the Book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 8, verses 11–20, NKJV, you will very quickly understand that it was not man who accomplished things by himself, but rather a much greater and higher power than man who permitted or allowed something to happen or to be completed. The real truth of the matter and the secret of all accomplishment are given to mankind within the instructions of this part of Scripture:
(11) “Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not
keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His
statutes which I commanded you today,
(12) lest– when you have eaten and are full, and have built
beautiful houses and dwell in them;
(13) and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your
silver and your gold are multiplied, and all that you have
(14) when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the Lord your
God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the
house of bondage;
(15) who led you though that great and terrible wilderness, in
which there were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty
land where there was no water; who brought water for
you out of the flinty rock;
(16) who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your
fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that
He might test you, to do you good in the end–
(17) then you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of
my hand have gained me this wealth.’
(18) And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He
who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish
His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this
(19) Then it shall be, if you by any means forget the Lord your
God, and follow other gods, and serve them and worship
them, I testify against you this day that you shall surely
(20) As the nations which the Lord destroys before you, so you
shall perish, because you would not be obedient to the
voice of the Lord your God.”
Now listen dear ones, these are not just idle words written in a book for other people to read and enjoy. Oh no,…these are The Creator of the Universe’s commandments to all people as to what they should do if they want or desire the blessings of the Lord God. These written instructions are to be precisely followed and obeyed. Failure to do so has already been foretold….Failure to follow God and His Laws cause you to perish from the face of the earth! God always says what He means, and means what He says!
Permit me to tell you that God loves you. He truly does desire to bless and reward you. He wants you to be prosperous and healthy in every way. Read His Word as recorded in the Book of 3 John (2-4) NKJV:
(2) “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in
health, just as your soul prospers.
(3) For I rejoice greatly when brethren came and testified of
the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth.
(4) I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in
Allow me to tell you that the only manner and way that you or anyone else can and will “walk in the truth,” is for you to conduct yourself in complete and submitted obedience to God’s Laws as you live out your life.
God wants to bless you. He wants you to prosper and be in good physical health. His rewards are great, abundant, and bountiful. The only condition which He places upon you is that your own soul prosperity has to increase first. They key that unlocks all of His treasures to you is for you to read and feed on the Word of God everyday of your life, and then live out what He has told you to do in love and service to your fellow man,…and to do it all for the Glory of God.
Peace and Love to All of You……………..Poppa Bear
