Never Miss An Opportunity To Share The Truth With Others

You Never Know Who Is Listening

One of the most incredible truths of life is how frightened and fear-filled most people on this earth really are. They seem to be afraid of just about everything that is going on in their lives as well as in the lives of everyone else all over this world. Now think about that for a moment. People are afraid of what is happening in their own lives and they are afraid of what is happening in the lives of other people all over the world most of whom they don’t even know or with whom they do not have any type of personal relationship. Now how foolish is that? How could you possibly fear someone or something with whom or with which you have no connection or dealings? It is utter nonsense to fear the unknown. Possessing and demonstrating adequate faith is the only sure fire way to overcome fear and cause it to loose its life threatening grip on you. Faith will drive out all fear. On the other hand, fear will stop all creative activity and performance.

Fear paralyzes,….Faith activates.

Faith and Fear cannot coexist…Faith will always drive out Fear.

Well, I will tell you the truth. Nothing on this earth “just happens.” Things, people, or events don’t just randomly spring up into your life and cause you to act or react in a given manner or way to any suddenly appearing circumstance, effort, or situation. The Holy Scriptures tell us in no uncertain terms that God created each and every one of we humans and that He numbered the days of our individual lives and that He has preplanned a use and purpose for our individual lives during the course of our time here on earth. He specifically tells us what we should be doing as Believers in Christ with the use of our lives while we live on earth.

Some of His valuable guidance appears in His Word in the Book of Mark Chapter 8, verses 34–38 NKJV:

Take Up the Cross and Follow Him

(34) “When He had called the people to Himself, with His
disciples also, He said to them, ‘Whosoever desires to come
after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and
follow Me.

(35) For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but
whoever loses his life for My sake and the Gospel’s will save
it.

(36) For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world,
and loses his own soul?

(37) Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

(38) For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this
adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also
will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father
with the holy angels.”

Your individual discovering of God’s Plan for your personal life all begins when you accept Jesus Christ into your own life as your personal Lord, Master, and Savior. Once you discover that Divine plan and purpose God has for your life, you will begin to live a life of great and high magnitude. You will begin receiving wonderful benefits and rewards from your Heavenly Father. And, you will be filled with the Holy Spirit of God and begin to experience more abundant life than you have ever before known or experienced or even imagined up to that point in time.

The key to your receiving all of these great blessings and rewards from your Creator is that you first become a Born-Again Christian Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Once you do your part, then and only then is God able to do His part. It is all a long-term process and once all of the parts are in place, it all fits together and runs smoothly.

Permit me to give you a prime example of what I am trying to explain to you. God never changes. God never makes any mistakes. Everything He does or allows to happen is for a specific and distinct plan or purpose. Everything! No exceptions.

The great American evangelist and founder of the campus Crusade for Christ, Mr. William R. “Bill” Bright (October 19, 1921–July 19, 2003), in 1951, was obediently following what he understood to be God’s Call on his life. Mr. Bright had become an Evangelical Christian in 1944 while he was attending the First Presbyterian Church in Hollywood, California. He felt he was following God’s Call on his life to help fulfill Christ’s Great Commission.

Matthew 28 : 18–19 NKJV:

(18) “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority
has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

(19) Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the
Holy Spirit. ’ ”

Once you are prepared to follow God’s guidance and are boldly following His directions, you will then begin to be watched, listened to, and observed with scrutiny by any and all other people who happen to be near you,… anywhere around you. You now have the privilege to become a living example of what it really means to be a Christian. You now have an internal “God Power” that can and will be used to influence other people in a positive and most wonderful way.

Permit me to show you what I mean through a short story.

When Mr. Bill Bright moved to Los Angeles, California in the mid 1940s, he happened to meet Mr. Elwain Steinkamp, a real estate developer who had built the prestigious Bel Air community. One bright and sunny day beside his swimming pool, Mr. Steinkamp told Bill Bight, “Material success is not where you find happiness. There are rich people all over this city who are the most miserable people you’ll ever meet. Knowing and serving Jesus Christ is what’s really most important. He is the only way to find real happiness.” Mr Steinkamp went onto quote Jesus: “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul?”

Those quoted words of Christ made a very deep impact on Bill Bright. Shortly afterward Mr. Bright gave his life to Christ. Almost immediately he began winning others to Jesus, and then went on to become one of the most powerful evangelistic personalities of the twentieth century.

You are God’s child once you become a “Born-Again” Believer. Once that happens to you, you become royalty because you become the son or daughter of a King. Never underestimate the influence and leadership you can have by simply saying a few words for the Lord to someone by a swimming pool, beside an office desk, at a sporting event, around a dining table, over the internet,or anywhere else you find yourself–and other people to be.

The Kingdom of God is constantly growing all around us,…and we don’t want anyone anywhere to miss it.

The way you accomplish this exhortation is to never pass up or miss an opportunity to share the Truth of the Gospel of Christ with any and everyone with whom you come into contact. It is your responsibility to share the Good News of the Gospel of Christ. It’s the hearer’s responsibility to accept or reject it. Relax….You are just the messenger….
